Dwarf Conifers in stock.

     The following conifers are either planted in a one gallon pot with mixed compost and stay light stone approx. 3/8″ or potted in what we call pie pans. Pie Pans are circular approx 3.5 inches deep by 8″ wide.  We spread out roots in these pie pots and use a stone / compost mix.

Abies balsamea ‘Eugene’s Yellow’ – One Gallon in stock.

  • 2′-3′ in ten years. Good for rock garden.
  • 1-2″ growth per year.
  • Partial Shade. 

Abies balsamea ‘Piccolo’ Balsam Fir – Pie Pans In Stock

  • Smaller than Abies Nana
  • 12″ tall by 16″ wide in ten years. 1″ growth per year.
  • Prominent Brown buds.
  • Watch for sun scorch. Partial shade.

  • 2’tall by 18″ wide at ten years.
  • Doesn’t like to be hot or wet feet.
  • Partial shade and good drainage.

Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Chirimen’- Pie Pans In Stock

  • Dwarf form of Hinoki Cypress.
  • 1.5″ tall by 1′ wide at ten years.
  • Rich green foliage but can be grey or blue.
  • Best in full sun but tolerates some shade.
